About prop firm evaluations

• Prop firm evaluations and most funded accounts are simulated. You're typically paying a fee for access to an evaluation, not depositing capital.
• Many traders don't pass. Some firms publish pass rates; E8 Markets, for example, states a 17.7% evaluation pass rate for Jan 1, 2023 to Mar 1, 2024, and Take Profit Trader states 20.37% of registered users passed a test between 1/1/23 and 8/31/23.
• Payouts depend on each firm's rules, discretion and continued operation.

Hypothetical performance (CFTC Rule 4.41)

Simulated or hypothetical trading results have inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results don't represent actual trading, may under- or over-compensate for factors such as liquidity, and are designed with the benefit of hindsight.
