Overview
Tradeify is a futures prop firm offering evaluation plans (Growth and Select) and Lightning Funded accounts that skip the evaluation. Its help center states that every account type uses an end-of-day (EOD) trailing drawdown.
The plans trade off speed against flexibility. Growth can be passed in one day with no consistency rule but has a daily loss limit. Select needs at least three days because of a 40% consistency rule but has no daily loss limit during the evaluation, and drops the consistency rule once funded.
Tradeify supports three broker connections, chosen at checkout at the same price: Tradovate (Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TradingView), Rithmic (Tradesea, Quantower, Sierra Chart, R|Trader) and WealthCharts. Switching broker later requires a new account.
How the evaluation works
- Choose a planGrowth or Select evaluation, or Lightning Funded to start funded straight away.
- Pass (evaluation plans)Hit the profit target within the drawdown and the plan's rules. Growth has a 1-day minimum; Select has a 3-day minimum.
- Trade the funded accountFunded rules depend on plan; Select lets you choose a Flex or Daily payout policy after you pass.
- Request payoutsMeet the plan's payout policy (consistency, profitable days, minimum balance).
Rules in plain English
EOD trailing drawdown, enforced live
The floor trails your highest end-of-day balance and only moves up, but it's enforced continuously against net liquidation value (balance plus open P&L). Touching it intraday fails the account permanently, even if price recovers before the close. Tradeify's own example: a 100K account with $3,500 drawdown starts with a $96,500 floor; ending day one at $103,000 moves it to $99,500.
Growth: daily loss limit is a soft breach
Growth evaluations have a daily loss limit. Hitting it pauses trading for the day rather than failing the account, unlike the trailing drawdown, which is a hard breach.
Select: 40% consistency in evaluation only
During a Select evaluation, no single day can be more than 40% of total profit. Once funded, the consistency rule is removed regardless of payout policy.
Growth funded payouts
Growth funded accounts follow a 35% consistency rule and need at least five profitable days above a threshold ($100 on 25K, $150 on 50K, $200 on 100K, $250 on 150K), plus a minimum balance (for example $53,000 on a 50K). The day count resets after each payout.
Lightning Funded consistency steps up
Lightning accounts bought after Sept 12, 2025 (8:00 AM ET) use 20% consistency for the first payout, 25% for the second and 30% after that. Older Lightning accounts keep a flat 20%.
- On Sim Funded accounts the drawdown locks once your EOD balance exceeds the drawdown by $100 (for example $52,100 on 50K), or when you request a payout. The floor then stays fixed at $100 above the starting balance (for example $50,100).
- You can hold up to 5 Sim Funded accounts in any mix of Growth, Select and Lightning. Daily reconciliation runs 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. ET.

Lightning Funded consistency now steps up per payout
Lightning Funded accounts bought after Sept 12, 2025 (8:00 AM ET) use 20% consistency for payout 1, 25% for payout 2, and 30% after that. The same date split applies to Growth funded payout tiers and minimum balances.
Who it affects: Accounts purchased after the cutoff. Older Lightning accounts keep a flat 20%.
